Is the Community Edition really free?
Yes, forever. RAXE Defend Community Edition is free to use for personal, educational, and commercial purposes. There are no usage limits, no feature gates, and no time restrictions. See the full license for details.
What is the difference between Community and Enterprise?
Community Edition runs entirely on your device with on-device ML inference. Enterprise adds a cloud-hosted API gateway, custom detection rules, SOC 2 compliance reporting, SLA-backed support, team management, and SIEM/SOAR integrations. The core detection engine is the same.
Can I use Community Edition in production?
Absolutely. Many teams run RAXE Defend Community Edition in production today. The detection engine, ML models, and signature library are identical between Community and Enterprise. Community is production-ready by design.

Does the Community Edition collect telemetry?
No. RAXE Defend Community Edition collects no data by default. All scanning happens on-device. There are no analytics, no phone-home calls, and no usage tracking unless you explicitly opt in.
